Agreed, although they would have to be free.
BTW, did you know that when people are notified of subsequent comments on one of your posts, they are getting your email address.
If this is your intention forgive me for worrying on your behalf but most people set the Blogger settings to prevent this info getting out and being spammed.

Art Galleries definitly need to be free.
This is important - and not just to ensure everyone has access.
If you have to pay to go into an art gallery, it distorts your relationship with the pictures / sculptures. You are likely to feel you must see as many exhibits as you can to make it the admission fee 'worth it'.
I don't think art can be appreciated if it is 'gorged'.
Free admission means people can return to see one picture; stand in front of it for ages; drop in on it during the lunch break.
This is why there need to be more galleries - so more people have the chance to appreciate art in this way.

P.S. No, I didn't know my email address is going out with the comments. I don't know why. It may not matter. It is available on the site anyway. But I'll think - and check settings. As long as it's not sending other people's email addresses?
Mmmm, I once spent almost all day at St Ives Tate which my family blitzed in twenty minutes.
Free, for me, means free to gorge at will or to sip gently and then repair to the cafe to talk about it.
On the subject of email addresses, I'm sure it depends on the settings the visitors have in their Blogger systems and the vast majority don't reveal their email addresses so I wouldn't worry.
Oh! Do you mean the email addresses of visitors to the site are going out with the comments?
Under 'Edit user profile' if they select 'show my email address', I believe it will be revealed in any emailed comments to them or others who have also elected to receive emails of subsequent comments.
I really wouldn't worry. It's their decision and is not in your control because it's in their Blogger settings not yours.
If you see it happening, you could of course mention to them that they are exposing their email address, as I did to you.
You would see it happening when you receive an email to say a comment has been posted to your article (unless you have opted out of that option).
