I couldn't disagree more. For example, I acknowledge that I can be impatient when working with others. Is there an immediate solution? Not unless you can loan me a magic wand....

Taking your example . . .
Suppose you see a bed in the window of a furniture shop and it makes you realise the problem isn't that you have an impatient nature or that the people you meet are specially annoying but that you aren't getting enough sleep?
The solution of a lovely, cosy, enticing new bed brings it all into focus. The solution holds a mirror to the problem.
In a wider context . . .
Only when proper public transport is provided will people be likely to give up their cars. Then, when drivers find how pleasant air is without car fumes they'll realise how much polution their cars were causing (acknowledge the problem) and be glad to take buses and trains instead.
But the buses and trains (the solution) have to be there first . . . a kind of reverse economics with supply preceeding demand.
