QUESTIONS WE AREN'T ALLOWED TO ASK AND THINGS WE AREN'T ALLOWED TO SAY

Why does Israel exist?

Hello Anonymous

What I find odd - is this - that we can say (if we want to) that China should never have taken over Tibet - but there is a taboo against saying Jews from Europe should never have moved to Palestine and 'taken over'.

People can complain about what the English did in Ireland (if they want to). They can say the Basque regions should be separate from France (if they want to). But they can't say Israel, in its current form, simply should never have happened.

It may not be reversible - but I don't see how problems in the Middle East can honourably be resolved unitl people are allowed (openly) to say what they think.
